yesith b2023-12-02Staff is friendly but food was not worth Not satisfied with their menu and foods I pay for the 1090 and I have received only fridge rice and tomato pase sources and chilipast it is not for the delicious and rice was not rite cooked I think it is not a good place on the your dinning this plase
Diasperth352023-07-02Comfortable stay at Ambalama Arrived from the Colombo airport and stayed overnight in an AC Room before travelling to scenic areas of Sri Lanka. Location of this facility was great as it is beside a main highway leading to upcountry. Staff were friendly and attentive, room was adequately equipped and stay was comfortable. Breakfast was good with several Sri Lankan food choices. The green environment in the property is making it an ideal location to break your journey or have a relaxing stay and enjoy tasty Sri Lankan food. Overall it is good value for money.

Bawantha L2023-03-12???? Its not wandering why this place called ambalama(sinhala). Its truely an ambalama. Rooms are not clean specially the metress was heavy with dirt and uncleaned. Found a condom packet in the cupboard. Felt like a common බඩු පොට්. Towels were not there and had to call and get them. Unfortunately towels smelled very bad and disgusting, definitely used once without any clean Or even without drying on sunlight. Washroom was uncleaned and just a label with sanitized (definitely it wasn't). You will be asked the dinner and the next day's breakfast at once. We asked some time but they were hurry. There are some pros in this place. They have super calm environment even on the weekends.(Once you visited you'll never visit again????). There's a jungle with a trees and shrubs. Massive ground with a good maintenance. Saw the good pool but hesitated swim. Had a camp type common area with some huts. Foods were decent but they were hurry with ordering process.

Nishi2021-04-21One night stay I must say this place needs huge maintenance. It was terrible to stay there as the room facilities are very low. The bathroom area was not covered properly and we had to use towels to cover it up. The towels they have provided in the room are terrible and very unclean. One of the room windows was broken at the time we checked in. Even after we informed them of the issue, instead of offering a new room, they managed to barely close the window. Meals were not available at all and it was alright as they had a super restaurant with tasty food. Despite all the negative sides, this place owns a wide area to play, a huge pool and a cute open cottage for a night hangout surrounded by nature. I do recommend this cottage for a BBQ night. They offered a BBQ machine but it was very old and need repair. Due to that, all the corn food we tried BBQ got roasted terribly. If you are planning to use this open cottage for a BBQ night, my advice is to apply mosquito cream. And keep a huge torch with you, just in case!
Uvindu Yapa2020-08-03Day Outing They said us that they have varieties of food items but we only had 5 Currys for 1350 pakage. and they make the welcome drink mix ith a bunch of ants some them are swimming in my drink. And we got a complimently room wich had a toilet similar to a toilet pit so please guys hope that the group of managers will upgrade the place and another kind request please people stay away from this resort still it be upgraded. I am very disappointed with the place.
Thisum Perera2020-08-03Terrible This is not a really good place for visit since first of all the wash rooms are not clean which is the most important thing for a trip.. And we ordered a 1350 menu but we got a 1000 menu... And also the room we god for changing is also not good.. And the place nature is also very untidy.. and in the welcome drink there were insects.. These kind of irritating things were there..
Nandana P2020-05-10Hide away from roadside noice Not the best of facilities but a nice place to spend a day or two hiding away from crowds and in the midst of some mangroves. Good place to have freedom and enjoy some music with friends or family. Night is calm and quiet but Frogs will definitely disturb you till you sleep..

I would like to thank for the manager who is going the best that he can make us happy. Thank you and definitely will come back..
